About Rev Kay

Rev Kay was born and raised in the Peterbourough area and trained in nursing in Sault Ste Marie. Kay graduated from Laurentian University with a BScN in Nursing for 46 years offering compassionate care as a registered nurse.

Kay moved to the Georgian Bay Area in 1972. She trained to be a Ordained Minister at Fellowships of the Spirit on New York, graduating in 2008. In 2011 Kay was Ordained as a Minister in Ontario at the Bancroft Spiritual Center. In 2018 Kay was ordained as a minister at the Spiritualist Church of Canada.

Kay specializes in Traditional, Spiritual, and non-Denominational weddings for all couples (including same sex). Kay is also available for funerals and naming ceremonies.

Kay's advice to 'Take your time and look at all the loving people around you as you walk down the aisle' really put me at ease. After the ceremony everyone spoke so highly of Kay and said they had never been to a wedding that felt so warm and welcoming. Everyone in the room felt the love and joy that afternoon. Like two pieces of ribbon floating in the universe they are not truly connected until a loving and compassionate minister helps to tie the knot as a base for eternal love to blossom and grow."
